The story behind AwaSense
The name AwaSense is inspired by the awa - the river.
In te ao Māori, rivers are more than waterways.
They connect people, place and identity.
Like a river, learning is shaped by the environments we move through, the relationships we build and the experiences we carry with us.
AwaSense creates learning journeys that connect people with culture, environment, community and real world experience, helping learning come alive beyond the classroom.
